Commuters in Westchester and Hudson Valley were back to their normal routine Friday after the end of the three-day transit strike in New York City.
At the Hartsdale Train Station, commuters said they are happy they don?t have to walk to work in the cold anymore. Residents faced traffic nightmares driving into Manhattan as well. Many said the strike was a financial burden besides being a huge inconvenience.
Some commuters say they sympathize with the Transport Workers Union (TWU) and hope the strike was worth it for its members.
