The Hudson Valley's LGBTQ+ community says it will have to get louder following a Supreme Court ruling that they say is a major setback.
In Friday's ruling, justices sided with a Christian business owner in Colorado who refuses to create websites to celebrate same-sex weddings.
Justice Neil Gorsuch penned the 6-3 decision.
Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ activists told News 12 they now have to make themselves more visible than ever.
"My husband and I have fought too hard to get our rights, and we're not going to take this lying down," said Michael Sabatino, of Yonkers Pride.
Pride groups representatives say they are calling on all their local businesses to pledge to serve LGBTQ+ people and join their fight to create equality for all.
