People of many different races and religions gathered in Purchase on Thursday to celebrate diversity.
The theme of this year's Annual Thanksgiving Diversity Breakfast held at Manhattanville College is building bridges piece by peace.
The event was founded by the American Jewish Committee of Westchester back in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks.
It all began with 20 different faith and ethnic leaders from around the area getting together to figure out how to make a difference.
More than 300 people attended the breakfast and more than 80 different religious and ethnic organizations take part.
