The story of an FDNY firefighter from West Nyack, who was killed in the Sept. 11th attacks, will be immortalized in film after his family has agreed to be in a documentary chronicling his life.
Tom Foley's sister, Joanne Foley Gross, says she's keeping her brother's memory alive in the documentary, called ?Tommy Foley, Legacy of a Young Hero.?
Nyack filmmaker Anthony Fiore says about 80 interviews from loved ones, nearly 350 pieces of video from family archives and media coverage, and tons of photos are used to capture Foley's zest for life.
Fiore says he's been working on the documentary with Gross for nearly two years.
The documentary is expected to be completed in the next four to six weeks.
