Hyde Park school officials confirm that they have identified the person who left a bullet in a bathroom last month.

The .22-caliber bullet was discovered inside a toilet at FDR High School on Feb. 18, according to authorities.

The school went under a “hold in place” procedure as police arrived and conducted an investigation.

District officials have not publicly named the person responsible or confirmed whether they are a student.

They say the situation is being handled under the district’s code of conduct.
