Crews spent Thursday night preparing for the first snowstorm of the season.
Yorktown Town Supervisor Matt Slater says that despite 10% of his crew being out due to COVID-19, at least 50 workers were out treating the roads with salt.
Highway Superintendent David Paganelli says he is making it work with fewer staff and hopes residents will understand if crews do not get to their streets as quickly.
