Runners were out in New Windsor Saturday morning to
raise money for a 13-year-old baseball player who was diagnosed with an
inoperable brain tumor.
His coach, Joe Voltaire, took it upon himself to lead a
fundraising effort to help Jett Diaz and his family.
"A month ago, I got a call from Jett's dad and we kind
of figured out what his diagnoses was, and I just decided I had to do something
to help," he told News 12.
His father called Jett a “brave guy” who is not battling his
fight alone.
