Daniel Mooney, 21, is accused of leading police on a chase throughout the streets of Chester in July 2005. Police say during the pursuit, Mooney turned off his headlights and made a U-turn, slamming into officer Robert Ferrara's car. Ferrara was critically injured in the accident.
If convicted on the multiple felony charges, Mooney could face up to 15 years in prison.
