Jury to decide fate of driver charged in crash that critically injured Chester cop

The fate of the driver charged in a high-speed crash that nearly cost a Chester cop his life is now in the hands of a jury.
Daniel Mooney, 21, is accused of leading police on a chase throughout the streets of Chester in July 2005. Police say during the pursuit, Mooney turned off his headlights and made a U-turn, slamming into officer Robert Ferrara's car. Ferrara was critically injured in the accident.
If convicted on the multiple felony charges, Mooney could face up to 15 years in prison.
