A lawsuit challenging the way Rockland County prosecutes building violations has been thrown out.
The suit, filed by the landlord of a Spring Valley apartment complex, was the scene of a serious fire last March.
An investigation into the scene found 168 violations. The violations were prosecuted through a hearing in administrative court, but that was being challenged by the landlord.
According to a court document signed Oct. 1, both sides agreed to discontinue the lawsuit.
