A man accused of driving drunk with a child inside the car was arrested Sunday in Ardsley.
New York State Police say they saw a driver speeding in the northbound lanes of the thruway.
Officers pulled over 39-year-old Jose Vargas, of New Jersey, and noticed he displayed several signs of intoxication.
Police say he had slurred speech, diminished reflexes and smelled of alcohol.
He was then arrested and taken to Tarrytown, where he provided a breath sample with a BAC of .15%.
Vargas was charged with aggravated DWI with a child in the car. He is set to appear in court in Ardsley later this month.
