Michael Cavagnolo, 48, is facing multiple charges in Dutchess County after allegedly making a series of threats against the Hyde Park Police Department.
The incident unfolded in early March when Cavagnolo called the police department, demanding that a specific officer be sent to his home for a fight.
Upon being dismissed, Cavagnolo reportedly threatened to harm the dispatcher and her family. He further claimed that he would bring grenades and guns to the police station, stating his intention to "shoot the place up."
Following his arrest, Cavagnolo was taken to the county sheriff's office, where he continued to make threats against the officers and their families.
Cavagnolo now faces numerous charges related to his threats and actions, with further legal proceedings expected as the case unfolds.
