A man died after falling out of his boat Sunday in the Stamford Harbor, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Officials say the man was trying to tie off his mooring when he fell.
Crews responded to the scene around 3 p.m. and recovered him from the water.
Although life-saving efforts were performed, he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
His identity is being withheld pending notification to his family.
Authorities say no criminal involvement is suspected.
