Man in critical condition after being shot inside car in Bridgeport

A 30-year-old man is in critical condition after a late-night shooting in Bridgeport, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.
Police responded to reports of a person shot around 11:52 p.m. Friday in the area of Edwards Street and Reservoir Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the man inside of a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his wrist and upper thigh.
The victim was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery.
He remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
