Police are searching for a man who they say is responsible for a violent robbery in Fordham.
Authorities say he approached a 32-year-old man on Jan. 18 in front of 105 East Kingsbridge Road.
They say he punched the victim in the face multiple times, threw him to the ground and took cash and a cellphone from his pants pockets.
The man ran from the scene and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, a red and black jacket, light-colored jeans and black sneakers, according to police.
The 32-year-old suffered minor injuries and turned down medical attention.
