According to state police, the incident occurred on Larkin Drive in Monroe, where a minivan crashed into a ditch. Witnesses in the area called 911 after seeing the crash.
When police arrived, they found the minivan with a person trapped inside. Emergency responders were forced to break the window to free the victim, who was then administered CPR by paramedics before being rushed to the hospital.
State police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
