A local phlebotomist is raising awareness of life-saving stem cell
donations with ‘Be the Match’ organization.
Danielle Sulyma, of Monroe, was able
to help her fiancé find four
potential stem cell matches with the help of a nonprofit.
‘Be the Match’ collects DNA cheek
swabs from possible donors to pair with recipients who have blood cancers, like
leukemia and lymphoma.
