A local phlebotomist is raising awareness of life-saving stem cell donations with ‘Be the Match’ organization.
Danielle Sulyma, of Monroe, was able to help her fiancé find four potential stem cell matches with the help of a nonprofit. 
‘Be the Match’ collects DNA cheek swabs from possible donors to pair with recipients who have blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma.
