The mother of Blessed Carlo Acutis, set to become the Catholic Church's first millennial saint, spoke at the University of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale on Thursday.

Antonia Salzano shared the story of her son, who died of leukemia in 2006 at age 15, according to university officials.

Acutis gained global attention for using technology and social media to spread the Catholic faith.

Pope Francis declared him "blessed" in 2020, with his canonization, originally scheduled for April 2025, postponed due to the pope's death.
