MSG to welcome fans again on Feb. 23. Here’s what they can expect.
Madison Square Garden will be welcoming fans, at a limited capacity, back for events beginning on Feb. 23.
MSG Entertainment provided some insights into what to expect upon returning to the world’s most famous arena.

Attendance

Arenas in New York are allowed to open at 10% capacity, meaning MSG can welcome about 2,000 guests.
Tickets for Rangers and Knicks games will be offered first to season ticket holders and suite members.
The first three Knicks games that MSG will host will be Feb. 23 vs. Golden State, Feb. 25 vs. Sacramento, Feb. 27 vs. Indiana.
The first three Rangers games at MSG will be Feb. 26 vs. Boston, Feb. 28 vs. Boston, March 2 vs. Buffalo.
According to MSG Entertainment, “Season ticket members will have the opportunity to purchase one socially distanced seating pod, consisting of two seats, for one of the first three home games. In addition to this, we’re offering a wide range of price points, starting at $50."
More information about tickets for additional games will be shared once it becomes available.
MSG plans to host and recognize essential workers at every Knicks and Rangers game.

Health and Safety:

Each guest attending events will be required to present “confirmation from a healthcare provider of a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the day of the game, along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the test result.”
Guests must also pass a health survey, which will be available on the MSG Venue App, 12 hours prior to the game. This is to ensure a “fast and efficient entry process.”
Guests will also be temperature-screened before entering The Garden. They must register below 100.4 to enter.

Gameday:

All tickets for events will be digital, so fans attending games will have to download the MSG Venue App.
MSG will be opening doors 90 minutes prior to the game and “using multiple entrances to help with flow.”
Guests will be assigned specific entrances based on their seating location which will be clearly displayed on each digital ticket.
All guests will be required to wear a face covering while in The Garden, except while actively eating or drinking in their assigned seats.
All in-venue purchases, such as food and beverage and merchandise, will be 100% cashless via credit card purchases and mobile payment.
MSG also has the answers to frequently asked questions here.
