A new commuter parking garage at the Harrison train station is now open.
The nearly 600 spot garage is just steps from the station and connects to the New Haven Line.
It's been ten-years in the making and the opening completes the first phase of the Metro-North's transit-oriented development plan.
This phase also includes construction of 83 apartments and retail space.
The second phase of the project will begin soon, bringing 60 more apartments and commercial spaces to the area.
