The New York State Thruway Authority has announced a naming contest for the baby falcons residing at the top of a tower on the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge.
Elementary school students in Rockland and Westchester counties are invited to submit names for the young falcons until May 10.
A panel of judges will review the submissions and select 10 finalists for an online public vote.
Last year's winning names were "Luke Flywalker," "Talon Zee," and "Jimmy Falcon." They were chosen through a similar process.
