The Nanuet Union Free School District is asking voters to say yes Thursday to a new $59 million bond.
The four-year project would include upgrades to restrooms, fire alarms and roofs, as well as a new turf field and new STEM classrooms and labs.
The bond will add no additional cost to property taxes. Instead, it will replace the old bond about to retire, which currently costs the average household $273.
This is the first bond the district is applying for in 20 years.
Polls are open Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Nanuet Senior High School gym.
