Nassau County to showcase drone detection technology

Police are expected to launch drones, explain the detection technology and show how they are tracked at the event.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Commissioner of Police Patrick Ryder will showcase the county’s new drone detection technology Thursday that allows the county to track drones anywhere within Nassau.
Police are expected to launch drones, explain the detection technology and show how they are tracked at the event.
The event will be held at the David S. Mack Center for Police Training and Intelligence in East Garden City.
