It was another emotional day in court as Dan Nagle, the husband of the woman who was brutally raped and murdered last April, took the stand. Nagel said it is difficult for him to take the stand but wants to make sure the man accused of killing his wife is put behind bars. Ronald Douglas Herrera-Castellanos is accused of raping, stabbing and strangling Mary Nagle inside her New City home. Herrera has been charged with 15 counts of first and second-degree murder. Police say they found a wallet and a cell phone that belonged to Mary Nagle behind a house about a mile away from the Nagle household. The problem for prosecutors is that they haven't been able to identify any fingerprints linking the items to Herrera. The proof has to be produced by the District Attorney's office and the police department. The trial will continue Tuesday with Mary Nagle's sister due to take the stand. She allegedly saw and briefly talked with Herrera when he was coming out of the house that day. Related Story New City murder victim's family sees graphic crime scene video
