A brand-new Malaysian restaurant is opening in Scarsdale, and customers may have already seen it pop up on their food delivery apps.
Lemak Malaysian which translates to "coconut cream" is a 19-seat eatery.
Restaurateurs and brothers Jeevan Pullan and Roshan Balan will officially open their doors on Monday.
The duo owns several Mexican and Indian restaurants in Westchester County. Pullan said Malaysian cuisine was the next business venture.
A Malaysian chef will prepare cultural dishes like chicken satay, curry puffs, noodles and fried rice dishes.
The staff was already busy in the kitchen on Friday, despite the frigid winter weather.
Diners will also find shaved ice-based desserts and Malaysian iced tea.
