Theater students at New Rochelle High School are showing their creativity and thinking outside the box for their yearly performance this spring.
Since they are unable to host their annual musical in their auditorium due to the pandemic, they decided to film it all and create a musical you could watch online right at home.
"Even when I realized it couldn't be traditional, I wanted them to have this experience, no matter what it took. And part of that too is giving up a lot of control and letting them figure out the solutions," says Anthony Stirpe, Theatre and Film Teacher at New Rochelle High School.
Students have been creating music and different scenes, which are now being pieced together.
