Hope Community Services, a New Rochelle-based nonprofit, hosted a breakfast and provided grab-and-go Thanksgiving meals to members of the community in need this morning.
The organization's core mission is to provide support and services to the community, including emergency food options, housing, and social services.
According to Sylvia Hamer of Hope Community Services, "Hunger doesn't stop because it's a holiday, it continues and some people are lonely during the holidays. We have people here to provide companionship, play games, talk with them and just see how their day is going."
