WEATHER TO WATCH: Scattered storms, humidity surge Thursday in the Hudson Valley

WHAT’S NEW: Scattered showers and storms arrive for Thursday afternoon along with a surge in humidity.  
WHAT’S NEXT: Conditions will improve overnight Friday into Saturday.

FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Increasing cloud cover with a spot shower or two before sunrise on Thursday. Lows in the 70s.
THURSDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH: Temperatures are warmer, and humidity will be rising. Feels-like temps will be in the mid-90s. Scattered showers and storms will be an issue for the afternoon and evening hours. There is a chance some of the storms could be stronger in Ulster and Dutchess counties. Highs in the upper-80s and low-90s. Lows in the low-70s.
FRIDAY: A mix of sun and clouds with scattered storms in the afternoon and evening as a cold front passes. Highs in the mid-80s. Lows in the low-70s.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to sunny skies with less humidity. Highs in the mid-80s. Lows in the mid-60s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Comfortable levels of humidity will be around as well. Highs in the mid-80s. Lows in the upper-60s to low-70s.
