The NYPD says its officers made 16 gun-related arrests during and after the Dominican Day Parade in the Bronx.

Police released bodycam video of one arrest where officers are seen detaining a teen before pulling an assault rifle out of his pants. They say this rifle was one of 16 guns officers seized on Sunday along and around the Grand Concourse.

Police say the teen in the bodycam video is 19-year-old Maleek Drakeford, of the Bronx. He was taken into custody just after 9:15 p.m. near Walton Avenue and Tudor Place and charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

The NYPD provided images of the rifle along with photos of other guns recovered, while Citizen app footage captured multiple people being taken into custody.

The 16 arrests were made in the 44th precinct - where a shooting just one day prior left a 12-year-old boy dead.

Police say there were no reported shootings on Sunday, despite the number of guns on the street. They also say murders, shootings and robberies are slightly down in the borough compared to the same time last year.
