The NYPD says a woman was found dead just outside the New York Botanical Garden on Tuesday morning.
The woman was discovered around 7 a.m. near 2900 Southern Blvd., according to police.
The woman has been identified as 72-year-old Lydia Marzan.
Sources tell News 12 she was found with trauma to her hands and head.
