NYPD's Scuba Team says its recovery efforts in the Hudson River helicopter crash ended Monday and that the investigation has been handed over to the National Transportation Safety Board. Thursday's helicopter crash into the Hudson killed six people. The NYPD Scuba Team says the recovery efforts ended after four intense days and nearly 30 dives. The team says video of pieces of that helicopter falling out of the sky before hitting the water were key components and helped focus the rescue and recovery efforts. "We were able to utilize some of that video footage to kind of use landmarks that were in the background to ballpark where we wanted to start our search efforts," said Sgt. Thomas Mclaughin, a member of the NYPD Scuba Team.
