The state Department of Health says it is seeing an uptick in COVID-19 cases.
The department says the number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 has increased, though, those numbers do not count anyone who has tested at home and not reported their illness.
The latest data shows a 22% increase in hospital admissions than the week before which is about 100 admissions a day.
These numbers are still low compared to those during the height of the pandemic.
The state health commissioner says the increase in numbers is a reminder that COVID-19 is treatable and advised those with positive tests to speak with their doctor.
Those at high risk may want to consider wearing a mask and distancing when gathering for summer activities.
