Around five people were displaced following an early morning house fire in Rockland County.
Officials say that the Valley Cottage Fire Department responded to a fire around 6 a.m. Saturday at 350 Fulle Drive. Officials say the people living in the home were already outside by the time crews arrived.
“Crews stretched two lines. There was a lot of fire inside, up in the attic and in the bedrooms,” said Valley Cottage Fire Chief Kyle Garrabrant. “Crews took quick action to put the fire out.”
Officials say the residents will not be allowed back inside the home due to the damage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
