A family in Warwick decided to do more than donate money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, they are opening their home to refugees.
The O?Brien family felt obligated to do something to help people nearly 1,000 miles away suffering from the devastation of Katrina. They posted their home on craigslist, an Internet site used for advertising, to offer any family affected by the hurricane to come and live with them.
The O?Briens say their house can accommodate a family of four. For now, they have not received any responses but hope that will change.
