There's a new push by parents in Orange County to get their children back in the classroom full time.
About a dozen people were rallying Wednesday to get students within the Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School District back in the classroom five days a week.
The school district recently began a hybrid teaching model, adding that elementary and higher-needs students will return to the classroom four days a week beginning next month.
The superintendent tells News 12 that COVID-19 guidelines such as social distancing requirements would need to change because there isn't enough room for all students to come back currently.
