An Orangetown Town Board member who visited New Orleans is urging Hudson Valley residents to raise awareness about the Gulf oil spill. Michael Maturo says he spoke with residents and environmental groups about the oil spill?s effects on the environment and the economy. Now back in Rockland County, Maturo says he hopes people will donate to the Southeastern Wildlife Conservation Group and KatrinaVictims.org.
