Paroled killer admits to groping woman at Cortlandt dog park

A Verplanck man on parole for a Rockland County murder has admitted to groping a woman at a dog park in Cortlandt.

Robert McCain, 64, pleaded guilty to forcible touching in Cortlandt Town Court.

He was arrested in July following the incident, prosecutors said.

McCain was on parole for the 1980 murder of 16-year-old Paula Bohovesky in Pearl River. He was released in 2021.

He will now serve four months in jail.
