Peekskill woman pleads guilty to crashing stolen car into pedestrians

Sharon Godwin, a woman from Peekskill, has pleaded guilty to crashing a stolen car into five pedestrians, including two children, in Upper Manhattan last March.
According to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, Godwin was driving around Broadway and West 190th Street when she lost control of the vehicle and struck the pedestrians on the sidewalk.
As part of the plea deal, Godwin is expected to receive a 4-year state prison sentence when she is sentenced in October.
