Peregrine falcons are once again nesting above the Hudson River.
A Thruway Authority spokesman says two falcons are currently tending to four new eggs atop one of the towers at the Mario Cuomo Bridge. These eggs were laid over an eight-day period earlier this month.
Perched some 400 feet above the river, the falcons have chosen their annual nesting spot in the bridge's box.
The eggs are anticipated to hatch in mid-to-late April.
