Pfizer to start testing COVID-19 vaccine on teens

Rockland-based Pfizer will begin testing its experimental COVID-19 vaccine in children as young as 12.
The drugmaker says it will begin vaccinating older teens this week in Cincinnati and then will work to enroll 12- to 15-year-olds.
Researchers leading the trial say parents are already expressing interest in having their children participate.
More than half a million children in the U.S. have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
