Phelps Hospital celebrated its 10th-annual Food, Wine and Beer Fest in Sleepy Hollow on Sunday.
The event raised money this year for the creation of a new garden for patients of the facility’s inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs.
The festival featured a diverse selection of culinary delights paired with wine and local craft beers.
The hospital set up a goal to raise $360,000 to build the garden. Hospital officials said they were encouraged by the turnout.
Once completed, the garden will serve as a quiet outdoor space that promotes healing and well-being for both patients and visitors to Phelps Hospital.
