A Pine Plains woman is facing multiple charges, following a traffic stop in Red Hook.
Police say 52-year-old Sandra Brown, was driving a vehicle without insurance in the parking lot of Stewart’s shop.
According to police, she failed to comply with officers once they explained why she was being stopped.
Officials say Brown fled the traffic stop and in the process, she hit one of their patrol vehicles.
Police say Brown then tried to drive through the parking lot of a convenience store to avoid traffic. However, police say they boxed in her car and she was taken into custody.
Brown now faces multiple charges, including reckless endangerment and unlawful fleeing a police officer.
