One person is in custody Friday in connection to a stabbing in Mount Vernon, police say.
Police say Lovette Justice, 33, of Mount Vernon, stabbed a 39-year-old man in the torso Thursday near Petrillo Plaza. They say the victim is in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center.
Justice is facing several charges including attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
