Yonkers police have new information about an arrest made at a car crash scene.

Police say they responded to a crash just before 10 p.m. on Monday night near 453 McLean Ave. The investigation revealed that the crash involved a dispute and an assault.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on assault charges for punching a woman in the face several times, according to law enforcement officials.

They say a woman was also struck by a vehicle at the scene. That woman is expected to be OK.
