Police say a Hispanic man from Spring Valley was beaten and robbed in an apparent hate crime.
Authorities say the three alleged attackers, ages 17, 15 and 13, were arrested and may be responsible for similar attacks in the past.
Spring Valley police say the suspects told them they targeted the Hispanic community, specifically day laborers, because they carry cash and are considered easy prey.
Police add that anyone who is attacked, regardless of immigration status, needs to file a report.
