? Police are looking for the remains of a Cortlandt Manor woman who they suspect was killed by her husband.
While officials say search dogs have focused on certain areas on the couple?s property, they can?t confirm allegations that 66-year-old Werner Lippe may have burned the body of his wife, Faith Lippe, 49, and scattered her ashes on the property.
Werner was charged Thursday with his wife?s murder, nearly a month after reporting her missing on Oct. 3. He later and pleaded for her return in an interview with News 12 Westchester.
Lippe said he saw his wife get into someone else's car outside their home Oct. 3. On Oct 14, investigators said there was no evidence of foul play.
Lippe, whose lawyer was not in court with him Friday, is due back in court Monday.
