Police: Spring Valley woman found with crack-cocaine, illegal handgun during traffic stop

A Spring Valley woman accused of possessing drugs and an illegal firearm was arrested Friday in Hillcrest, according to Ramapo police.
Authorities say officers pulled her over after noticing her car had inoperable lights and a suspended registration.
Police then discovered a handgun, crack-cocaine and drug equipment inside the vehicle.
The charges against her include criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon and several traffic violations.
