Police are planning extra security at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla for the annual Fourth of July fireworks show.
Sgt. Ed Devlin, who commissions the Westchester County Hazardous Devices Unit, says that there is no specific threat, but authorities are taking extra precautions due to the recent terror attacks overseas in the United Kingdom.
Measures include a bomb squad truck deployed to the site and aerial surveillance via helicopter.
The Kensico Dam Plaza show is scheduled for July 3.
