Police: Yonkers man tried to sell narcotic stronger than fentanyl to undercover officer

Detectives say 49-year-old Miguel De Jesus Reyes Medina was arrested Thursday when he tried to sell what he claimed was fentanyl to an undercover cop.

A Yonkers man faces federal charges for selling a narcotic that authorities say was up to three times stronger than fentanyl.
Detectives say 49-year-old Miguel De Jesus Reyes Medina was arrested Thursday when he tried to sell what he claimed was fentanyl to an undercover cop.
According to tests, the drug was actually protonitazene and not fentanyl.
Reyes Medina is charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and could get life in prison.
