Police: Yorktown resident fatally struck by car

Police say a Yorktown resident was fatally hit by a car.

The incident happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of Old Yorktown Toad and Strang Boulevard.

Police say the driver, a 66-year-old Yorktown resident, was heading southbound on Old Yorktown Road when the victim was struck.

Police say a 58-year-old Yorktown resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

No name has been released.

No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
