How many of your neighbors do you know? Surveys show Americans are less likely than ever to even know the people who live next door to them.

News 12's Brian Donohue recently set out to meet more of his neighbors and find the interesting stories that sit right under our noses- or at least down the block.

Today he even got a haircut and a shave out of the deal with a visit and interview of Gus Carter, an 82-year-old barber who owns Gus's Barber Shop in Red Bank, where has been cutting hair and beards in Red Bank since 1978.
